The Corning Painted Post High School is hosting a blood drive. This event is taking place on Thursday, May 10 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm in the Auxiliary Gym, at 201 Cantigny Street in Corning New York. Students can make an appointment by seeing a Key Club member or signing up during lunch.
The Key Club has supported the transformation of high school students as they graduate from high school and move on to be the world’s next leaders, since 1925. They are sponsoring the blood drive at the Corning Painted Post High School.
Relating to the Corning Painted Post High School blood drive, Freshman Monique Tovey said, “I think it is very helpful to people that are in need, and it is very brave of people to donate blood because it comes from your body. ”
There is someone in need of blood every two seconds in the United States. One blood donation could save up to three lives. While blood can not be manufactured, it can only be provided by volunteer donors. This presents a very relevant need for blood donations.
Come to the high school auxiliary gym and donate blood, it could be you in need of it someday.
