Exploring possible careers is an essential part of preparing for the future. Luckily, the school provides transportation to career development panels during the school day to make this process a little bit easier. The following list are upcoming career panels. Technical Trades and Education on October 26 at 9:30 am. Protective Services Panel on November 8th at 9 am.Psychology/Social Work on November 9th at Hornell High School. Technology Day/FFW on November 21 at 10 am. Medical Panel on December 6 at 9:30 am. Conservation/Environmental on December 14th at 9:30 am. For the Judicial Panel and Nursing, the date is TBD. Forensics on March 6th, 2018. Political Round Table on March 15th. Engineering March 20th at 9:30. Business on March 28. And lastly, Construction, the date is TBD. These career panels give great insight on any jobs one may be interested in. People who work in the field of the desired profession attend and speak at these panels. Detailed and specific knowledge as well as experiences are shared. Folders with extra information that you are allowed to take are also provided. After all of the information is given, there is time allowed to ask questions with anyone who spoke. This is a great opportunity to learn more about interests and potential future professions, so make sure to attend as many as possible.
