On Friday, May 19th, students of CPPHS will be able to participate in an exhilarating ultimate frisbee tournament. The event will go from 3:30-6:00 PM and is located at Houghton Park. A total of eight teams, each composed of four people, are able to register for the event. Ultimate frisbee is a popular sport among students, and is frequently chosen as a unit in gym class. The goal of the game is to pass a frisbee down the field to score touchdowns, whilst avoiding defenders and interceptions. Its growth and popularity has grown exponentially in recent years, and students are excited that the tournament allows them to put their skills to the test. “Ultimate frisbee is the greatest sport put on this earth”, says sophomore student, Michael Fyfe. “It has everything you want in a game. Skill, a fast pace, and strategy.” For more information on the tournament, contact Clayton Curtis or Jay Forester. To all those who are registering, good luck!
